Built by a rugby coach. Made for the club.

Turn ordinary match footage into evidence-based coaching priorities, without needing a dedicated analyst.

From the weekend's footage to next week's first training session.

Why I built InForm Rugby

Something I could actually use at training.

I'm a rugby coach. The analysis tools I encountered were too expensive for our level, too difficult to use, or full of statistics I wasn't convinced would change what I coached.

Notes and video discussions were useful, but hard to compare consistently from one match to the next. I wanted a practical way to put structure around those observations.

InForm Rugby grew from that gap: coaching observation, structured evidence and a review process a club can share.

Built from a rugby coaching problem.

You know what went wrong – can your players see why?

Take them back to the moments that matter. Let players spot the gap, explain what they see and help decide what to practise next.

Go back to the moment

Test the impression.
Find the pattern.

Tag what happened, then review the detail. InForm Rugby brings those observations into a match review, with the video evidence close at hand.

  • Where are the line breaks coming from?
  • What is repeatedly costing us?

The whole team can study the game

80 minutes.
25 pairs of eyes.

Give each player a small part of the match to study. They look for the moments, explain their decisions and bring something of their own to the team review.

One shared match review

Bring the observations together. Check the clips, discuss what keeps happening and choose what to work on at training.

An example for a squad of 25: 80 minutes ÷ 25 = 192 seconds of footage each. Tagging, replaying and reviewing take additional time. Choose the split and review depth to suit your squad.

Watch your section of the match and tag the events as they happen. Return to them in the second pass to review the detail.

What will you work on at training?

Choose something the team can change.

Start with a recurring problem and check the clips. If line breaks keep coming through the same gap, you might work on spacing and approach speed. Your knowledge of the team shapes the session.

Check it again in the next match.

Look for the same situation after training. Compare matches across the season, inspect the observations behind a number or follow a player's own evidence where sharing permissions allow it.

Use the overview to choose a priority, or explore the detail behind it. The aim is a session you can explain to your players.
